Already an accomplished DJ, Andy has quickly risen to the pinacle of Funky House nights within his home town of Banbury since his debut in October 2005. His smooth mixing of funky beats & vocals ensures the dance floors are always buzzing.
What a 2006 it has been for Andy, seeing him go from strength to strength as the year progressed. 2006 saw Andy play supporting sets with Judge Jules, The Freemasons & DJ Spoony. The summer saw Andy headlining successful sets at club Dyyni in Finland, where he is hoping to make a return this summer.
Andy's hard work has payed off seeing him feature regularly in his home town of Banbury playing on nights such as "Funky Monkey", "Unique", "High Society", "What Da Funk" and playing out in Many of the clubs and bars such as The Buck, Reds Bar, JT's, Arabesque and Confessions. September saw Andy being taken on by the Dirty Little funkers as one of their resident DJ's and played successful gigs at Olivers Bar in Tamworth.
Things are looking very promising for this young and enthusiastic DJ as he looks to build on his success during 2006 and is set to feature with further headline acts coming into 2007.
2007
What a 2007 this has been for DJ Andy Pearce. This year has seen Andy play supporting sets alongside Judge Jules, Mark Sherry (Public Domain) and Kate Lawler. Andy has played more gigs across the UK, playing at Hidden Club in London, Demand in Coventry, Olivers in Tamworth and is currently speaking to various promoters to secure gigs in further towns/cities.
July saw Andy return to Headline at Dyyni in Finland and play a further gig in Kajaani. Andys hard work and dedication has certainly paid off with regular appearances in his home town of Banbury playing at the Liquid Lounge, Confessions (now known as Arena), Arabesque and the Blarney Stone. This year has also seen Andy make more appearances with the “Dirty Little Funkers”, which is a fast growing House brand that promotes nights all over the UK and the world.
Improvements to Andy’s website have proved invaluable, with nearly 2000 visitors to his website to date, over 5000 visits to his myspace page and over 2000 listeners worldwide that have now downloaded his monthly mixes. His mixes are now heard in 16 confirmed countries outside of the UK. This is further building his profile and reputation and is attracting much contact and interest from bars, clubs, DJ's/producers, internet radio stations and promoters from different areas of the world.
Andy hopes to get involved more in production of tracks and teamed up with Funk Ammo Recordings during April 2007, assisting in the remix of The 49ers “I got the music”. This remix features on Andys May 07 Mix, which can be downloaded from this site for free.
